I came across a website that gives tips to philanderers who are considering to pursue an affair. The site posits that keeping affairs while married is getting the best of both worlds. Moralists and psychologists have differing opinions and supporting studies.

It is quite an interesting topic because majority of traditional Pinoy males have had extra marital affairs at one point in their lives. Some men say having affairs validate their manhood, superiority/authority over females and sexual prowess. In short, our Pinoy males are weak.

Who are to blame? The hand that rocked the cradle? Can we lay blame on their wives who let their husbands be? May we blame society for cultivating a culture of tolerance for wayward husbands but not towards erring wives?

But if Pinoy men are indeed weak and spineless, would that preclude them from being accountable for their actions? Can't they think (with their other, bigger brain) rightly? Didn't they have a say at all in their actions? Were they guided merely by lust? Ego?
