AMD Outsells Intel Chips

Heard on tech news today. AMD's US desktop chip sales accounted for at least 52% of September chip sales viz Intel's 46%. I always believed in free trade and giving the consumer the freedom to choose. Even if I have friends who work in Intel wahehehe... Personally, I am very satisfied with AMD. In the office, all of the chips that burnt out early were P4s. My 6-month old 2gb Celeron conked out on me last August. It was a good thing Ton gave me his spare P4 (plus the motherboard). The other PC in the house runs on AMD athlon and it has been used since 2003. Still runs good. I always thought AMD had thermal issues. Guess that was only a rumor perpetuated by the Intel people hehehe... Peace y'all!
