Killen Gets 60 Years for Murder of 3 Civil Rights Activists in 1964

Ku Klux Klansman Edgar Ray Killen was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 60 years in prison.

This case was the basis for the movie, "Mississippi Burning" starring Gene Hackman and Willem Defoe.
