Blonde and Blue Eyes

I read Patricia Evangelista's speech Blonde and Blue Eyes. That sent shivers down my spine. I think she captured in a nutshell what the Filipino diaspora has affected (I wanted to say "impacted" but that word makes me think about teeth so I decided against it) the world.

True, most Filipinos would want to go abroad for "greener pastures" via work and fiance visas. But the one thing that really matters is when they do decide to go back and give back to the country that, whether they want to admit or not, shaped them as individuals.

Foot Spa

I just love foot spas. The cheaper the better. I found this nice spa in Cebu where they treat your lower extremeties like royalty for just 250pesos. It's called Maanyag Spa and Salon along Archbishop Reyes Ave (walking distance to Ayala Center Cebu).

Ambot unsa naa anang Foot Spa oi nga lami man jud kaayo ang akong pamati before and after. Lami kaayo katulog the whole day. Makalimut lang ko nga naa man diay koy trabaho pa. :)
